वैशाखे च तथा मासि कृष्णपक्षे चतुर्दशी । कैलासादुमया सार्द्धं स्वयमायाति शङ्करः
vaiśākhe ca tathā māsi kṛṣṇapakṣe caturdaśī | kailāsādumayā sārddhaṃ svayamāyāti śaṅkaraḥ
No mês de Vaiśākha, no décimo quarto dia da quinzena escura, Śaṅkara vem ele mesmo de Kailāsa, juntamente com Umā.

Sacred time (tithi and month) intensifies sacred place—divine presence is specially affirmed on auspicious dates.
Śuklatīrtha on the Narmadā, where Śiva is said to manifest at a specific calendrical time.
Observance of the Vaiśākha month and Kṛṣṇapakṣa Caturdaśī as a special occasion for pilgrimage/ worship is implied.
