Transliteration

tyaktvā rājyaṃ suraiḥ sārddhaṃ gataśrīko jagāma ha | tapaścacāra vipulaṃ gautamena mahītale

Translation

Tendo abandonado a soberania, com o esplendor já perdido, partiu na companhia dos deuses; e, sobre a terra, praticou grandes austeridades junto de Gautama, buscando alívio.
