Type: tirtha
Listener: rājendra (king)
Scene: A kingly listener receives assurance from a sage; in the background, pilgrims bathe at Candrahāsa ghat, with symbolic threefold impurities dissolving into the river.
The tīrtha is portrayed as so potent that mere bathing can dissolve accumulated sins of speech, mind, and action.
The verse says “that tīrtha” in continuation—contextually the Candrahāsa tīrtha described in the preceding verses.
Snāna (ritual bathing) alone is stated as the efficacious act at this tīrtha.
