Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 29

अवगाह्य ततः पेया आपो वै नान्यथा बुधैः । धरायामक्षिपद्भागं द्वितीयं पद्मसंभवः

avagāhya tataḥ peyā āpo vai nānyathā budhaiḥ | dharāyāmakṣipadbhāgaṃ dvitīyaṃ padmasaṃbhavaḥ

Por isso os sábios declaram que as águas devem, de fato, ser para banhar-se e para beber, e não de outro modo. Então o Nascido do Lótus lançou a segunda parte sobre a terra.
