कुरुक्षेत्रं त्यजध्वं च पुत्रदारसमन्विताः । त्यक्त्वोदीचीं दिशं सर्वे यामो याम्यामनुत्तमाम्
kurukṣetraṃ tyajadhvaṃ ca putradārasamanvitāḥ | tyaktvodīcīṃ diśaṃ sarve yāmo yāmyāmanuttamām
«Deixai Kurukṣetra, juntamente com vossos filhos e esposas. Abandonando a direção do norte, vamos todos ao incomparável quadrante do sul.»
