पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow
पाखण्डिपतितोदक्यास्सूतकान्त्यजपूर्वकान् । वर्जयेत्सर्वयत्नेन मनसा कर्मणा गिरा
pākhaṇḍipatitodakyāssūtakāntyajapūrvakān | varjayetsarvayatnena manasā karmaṇā girā
Com todo esforço, deve-se evitar—pela mente, pela ação e pela fala—os hereges, os decaídos, aqueles cuja água é ritualmente impura, os que estão sob a impureza de nascimento ou morte (sūtaka) e os que começam pelos párias e semelhantes; pois tal convivência impede a pureza e a firmeza no caminho de Śiva.
