The Universe as Agni–Soma
Fire and Nectar

Offering: naivedya
It teaches that right action offered as sacred oblation sustains cosmic harmony—rain, food, and life—showing how dharma, when consecrated, becomes a channel for divine support of the world under Shiva’s order.
Yajña-fire and Soma symbolize the manifest (saguṇa) workings of the Divine; Linga-worship similarly sanctifies worldly life by offering it back to Shiva, the inner Lord who empowers the cycles of nourishment and prosperity.
Perform offerings with purity—such as ghee or simple naivedya—while remembering Shiva (e.g., japa of the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), treating daily duties as havis dedicated to the Lord.
