The Manifestation/Transmission of the Mṛtyuñjaya Vidyā
इति श्रीशिवमहापुराणे द्वितीयायां रुद्रसंहितायां पञ्चमे युद्धखंडे मृतसंजीविनीविद्याप्राप्तिवर्णनं नाम पञ्चाशत्तमोऽध्यायः

Assim termina o quinquagésimo capítulo, chamado “A Descrição da Obtenção da Mṛtasaṃjīvinī Vidyā”, na quinta seção (Yuddhakhaṇḍa) do segundo livro, a Rudra Saṃhitā, do Śrī Śiva Mahāpurāṇa.
Suta Goswami (traditional Purāṇic narrator concluding the chapter while addressing the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
Sthala Purana: Colophon concluding the chapter on obtaining Mṛtasaṃjīvinī Vidyā; it situates the narrative within Rudrasaṃhitā’s Yuddhakhaṇḍa and names the adhyāya.
Mantra: mṛtasaṃjīvinī-vidyā (title reference only; mantra not quoted here)
This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter and preserving its sacred title; it emphasizes that life-restoring power (mṛtasaṃjīvinī) ultimately belongs to Śiva’s grace and to mantra-vidyā as a means of protection and upliftment within a Shaiva framework.
By naming the chapter around a potent vidyā, it points to Saguna Śiva as the compassionate Lord who empowers mantras and protects devotees; such vidyā is traditionally integrated with Śiva-upāsanā (including Liṅga worship, japa, and devotion) rather than treated as mere technique.
The title highlights mantra-vidyā and suggests disciplined japa with devotion to Śiva; in Shaiva practice this is commonly supported by purity, reverence, and auxiliary observances such as bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa, according to one’s tradition.
