पूजाविधिः

Pūjā-vidhiḥ) — The Supreme Procedure of Worship (Morning Observances

जपस्तपस्तथा दानं त्रिपुण्ड्रात्सफलं भवेत् । अभावे भस्मनस्तत्र जलस्यादि प्रकीर्तितम्

japastapastathā dānaṃ tripuṇḍrātsaphalaṃ bhavet | abhāve bhasmanastatra jalasyādi prakīrtitam

Japa (repetição de mantra), tapas (austeridade) e dāna (caridade) tornam-se verdadeiramente frutíferos quando acompanhados do Tripuṇḍra, as três linhas de cinza sagrada. Na ausência de bhasma, também são declaradas alternativas, começando pela água, para essa observância.
