अभिक्रन्दन्कलशं वाज्यर्षति पतिर्दिवः शतधारो विचक्षणः । हरिर्मित्रस्य सदनेषु सीदति मर्मृजानोऽविभिः सिन्धुभिर्वृषा ॥
abhikrन्दán kalaśáṃ vājī́ arṣati pátir diváḥ śatá-dhāro vi-cakṣaṇáḥ | hárir mitrásya sádanēṣu sīdati marmṛjānó ’vi-bhiḥ síndhu-bhir vṛ́ṣā ||
Bradando em voz alta, o impelente corre para a taça — senhor do céu, de cem correntes, de ampla visão. O Soma fulvo assenta-se nas moradas de Mitra, plenamente purificado pelas lãs de ovelha e pelos rios: touro, potência fecundante.
