Ó Soma, vidente e conhecedor, tu percorres tudo ao redor em tua vasta grandeza; como um corcel bem escovado, arremetes rumo a vā́ja — a plenitude da força e a consumação vitoriosa. Afastando os passos tortuosos da aflição, sê-nos gracioso. Revestido da clareza luminosa (ghṛtá), tu circulas e assumes a veste purificadora (nirṇíj).
