Sukta 9.74
श्वेतं रूपं कृणुते यत्सिषासति सोमो मीढ्वाँ असुरो वेद भूमनः । धिया शमी सचते सेमभि प्रवद्दिवस्कवन्धमव दर्षदुद्रिणम् ॥
śvetáṃ rūpáṃ kṛṇute yát sisā́sati sómo mīḍhvā́ṃ ásuro véda bhū́manaḥ | dhiyā́ śámī sacate sém abhí prá-vad divás kavándham áva darṣad udríṇam ||
Ele cria uma forma branca quando deseja ser posto em movimento — Soma, o forte doador, o Asura que conhece a vastidão. Pelo pensamento ele se une ao poder apaziguador; e impele adiante, tornando visível o tonel celeste, derramando para baixo a torrente erguida.
