Sukta 9.40

Devata: Soma Pavamāna (the purifying Soma)

स नः पुनान आ भर रयिं स्तोत्रे सुवीर्यम् । जरितुर्वर्धया गिरः ॥

sa naḥ punāná ā́ bhara rayíṃ stotré su-vī́ryam | jaritúr vardhayā gíraḥ ||

Ó Soma, ao te purificares, traz-nos o rayi — a plenitude do ser — para o nosso hino, uma riqueza portadora de poder heroico; e aumenta as palavras inspiradas do cantor.
