Sukta 7.82
अस्मे इन्द्रो वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा द्युम्नं यच्छन्तु महि शर्म सप्रथः । अवध्रं ज्योतिरदितेॠतावृधो देवस्य श्लोकं सवितुर्मनामहे ॥
asmé índro váruṇo mitró aryamā dyumnáṃ yacchantu máhi śárma sa-práthaḥ | avádhraṃ jyótir ádite ṛtā-vṛ́dho devásya ślókáṃ savitúr manāmahe ||
Em nós, que Indra, Varuṇa, Mitra e Aryaman estabeleçam o poder luminoso e a grande paz, vasta e amplamente difundida, como abrigo. Procuramos sustentar a Luz ininterrupta de Aditi—os que crescem no Ṛta—e meditamos a Palavra/a glória divina de Savitṛ, que desperta a mente para a Verdade.
