Sukta 7.2

वनस्पतेऽव सृजोप देवानग्निर्हविः शमिता सूदयाति । सेदु होता सत्यतरो यजाति यथा देवानां जनिमानि वेद ॥

Transliteration

vánaspate ’vá sṛjópa devā́n agnír havíḥ śamitā́ sūdayāti | séd u hotā́ satyá-taro yajāti yáthā devā́nāṃ jánimāni véda ||

Translation

Ó Senhor da madeira, solta: que os deuses se aproximem. Agni, o ordenador da oferenda, conduz a oblação por seu curso correto. Então o Hotṛ, mais verdadeiro na verdade, sacrifica, pois conhece os nascimentos e os devenires dos deuses.
