Sukta 7.1
मा नो अग्नेऽवीरते परा दा दुर्वाससेऽमतये मा नो अस्यै । मा नः क्षुधे मा रक्षस ऋतावो मा नो दमे मा वन आ जुहूर्थाः ॥
mā no agne’vī́rate párā dā durvā́sase’́mataye mā no asyái | mā naḥ kṣúdhe mā rákṣasa ṛtāvo mā no dáme mā vána ā juhūrthāḥ ||
Ó Agni, não nos lances ao estado de perda do heroísmo interior; não nos entregues à má habitação e à mortalidade ainda não madura — não a ela. Não nos dês à fome, nem aos Rakṣasas; ó guardiões do Ṛta, não nos expulseis — nem da casa, nem para a aspereza da floresta.
