Sukta 6.3
स ईं रेभो न प्रति वस्त उस्राः शोचिषा रारपीति मित्रमहाः । नक्तं य ईमरुषो यो दिवा नॄनमर्त्यो अरुषो यो दिवा नॄन् ॥
sa ī́m rebhó na práti vaste usrā́ḥ śóciṣā rārāpīti mitrám-ahāḥ | náktaṃ ya īm aruṣó yó divā́ nṝ́n amártyo aruṣó yó divā́ nṝ́n ||
Ele, como um cantor hábil da Palavra, reveste-se das Uṣas luminosas; com a sua chama faz ressoar os dias amigos. Aquele que é o Ruivo à noite, e aquele que de dia conduz os homens — o Imortal, o Ruivo, que de dia conduz os homens.
