Sukta 6.27

वधीदिन्द्रो वरशिखस्य शेषोऽभ्यावर्तिने चायमानाय शिक्षन् । वृचीवतो यद्धरियूपीयायां हन्पूर्वे अर्धे भियसापरो दर्त् ॥

vadhīd índro varaśikhasya śéṣo 'bhyāvartíne cāyamānā́ya śíkṣan | vṛcī́vato yád dhariyūpī́yāyāṃ hán pū́rve árdhe bhiyásā́paro dart ||

Indra matou Śeṣa de Varaśikha, instruindo tanto o que recua quanto o que avança. Quando feriu o Vṛcīvant em Hariyūpīyā, na primeira parte o inimigo, tomado de medo, cedeu — e depois fugiu.
