Sukta 6.10

आ यः पप्रौ जायमान उर्वी दूरेदृशा भासा कृष्णाध्वा । अध बहु चित्तम ऊर्म्यायास्तिरः शोचिषा ददृशे पावकः ॥

ā́ yáḥ papráu jā́yamāna urvī́ dūré-dṛśā bhā́sā kṛṣṇā́dhvā | ádha bahú cit táma ūrmyā́yās tiráḥ śóciṣā dadṛśe pāvakáḥ ||

Aquele que, ao nascer, se espalhou amplamente sobre a vasta (terra), visto de longe por seu fulgor, abrindo através da negrura um caminho — um caminho de luz: então, mesmo muita escuridão, por sobre a sua onda, o Pāvaka (o Purificador) foi avistado por sua chama.
