Sukta 5.1
तुभ्यं भरन्ति क्षितयो यविष्ठ बलिमग्ने अन्तित ओत दूरात् । आ भन्दिष्ठस्य सुमतिं चिकिद्धि बृहत्ते अग्ने महि शर्म भद्रम् ॥
túbhyaṃ bharanti kṣitáyo yaviṣṭha balím agne ántita óta dūrā́t | ā́ bhandiṣṭhasya su-matíṃ cikiddhi bṛhá t te agne máhi śárma bhadrám ||
A ti, ó Agni, o mais jovem, os povos trazem a oferenda, de perto e também de longe. Percebe e firma em nós a reta disposição do mais generoso; pois vasto e poderoso é o teu abrigo venturoso, ó Agni, uma proteção verdadeiramente benfazeja.
