उद्वृह रक्षः सहमूलमिन्द्र वृश्चा मध्यं प्रत्यग्रं शृणीहि । आ कीवतः सललूकं चकर्थ ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥

Transliteration

úd vṛha rákṣaḥ sahá-mūlam indra vṛścā́ mádhyaṃ práty agraṃ śṛṇīhi | ā́ kī́vataḥ salalū́kaṃ cakartha brahmadvíṣa tápuṣiṃ hetím asyá ||

Translation

Arranca, ó Indra, o Rakṣas com a própria raiz; corta-lhe o meio, decepa-lhe a dianteira. Tu puseste fim ao avaro e ao tortuoso; contra o odiador da Palavra sagrada forjaste uma arma ardente — um gume de tapas, para sua perdição.
