Sukta 2.1
त्वं तान्त्सं च प्रति चासि मज्मनाग्ने सुजात प्र च देव रिच्यसे । पृक्षो यदत्र महिना वि ते भुवदनु द्यावापृथिवी रोदसी उभे ॥
tváṃ tā́nt saṃ ca práti ca asi majmánāgne sujāta prá ca deva ricyase | pṛkṣó yád átra mahinā́ ví te bhúvad ánu dyā́vāpṛthivī ródasī ubhé ||
Tu és ao mesmo tempo reunido e posto em face, por tua grandeza, ó Agni bem-nascido; e tu, ó deus, transbordas para além de toda medida. Quando aqui, por teu poder, se manifesta tua força que robustece, então Céu e Terra, os dois mundos, seguem o teu alargar-se.
