Sukta 10.36
विश्वस्मान्नो अदितिः पात्वंहसो माता मित्रस्य वरुणस्य रेवतः । स्वर्वज्ज्योतिरवृकं नशीमहि तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
viśvásmān no áditiḥ pātv áṃhaso mātā́ mitrásya váruṇasya revátaḥ | svàrvaj jyótir avṛkáṃ naśīmahi tád devānām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
Que Aditi nos proteja de toda aflição, ela, a mãe de Mitra e do resplandecente Varuṇa. Que alcancemos a luz plena de svar, uma luz sem «lobo», intacta, não tocada pela treva devoradora. Essa proteção dos deuses escolhemos hoje.
