Transliteration

ábudhram u tyá índravanto agnáyo jyótir bháranta uṣáso vyùṣṭiṣu | mahī́ dyā́vāpṛthivī́ cetatām ápo 'dyá devā́nām áva ā́ vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

Despertaram — esses fogos plenos da força de Indra — trazendo a luz nos desdobramentos de Uṣas. Que o vasto Céu e a Terra atentem, e também as Águas. Hoje escolhemos o amparo dos deuses, para que se erga o dia interior.
