Sukta 10.28
देवास आयन्परशूँरबिभ्रन्वना वृश्चन्तो अभि विड्भिरायन् । नि सुद्र्वं दधतो वक्षणासु यत्रा कृपीटमनु तद्दहन्ति ॥
devā́sa ā́yan paraśū́m̐r abíbhran vánā vṛścántaḥ abhí viḍbhír ā́yan | ní su-drvaṃ dádhato vakṣaṇā́su yátrā kṛpī́ṭam ánu tád dahanti ||
Os deuses vieram trazendo machados, cortando as florestas; avançaram com os clãs. Põem a boa madeira nos suportes, onde—seguindo-a—queimam o inseto rastejante: assim as potências purificam o que rói por dentro.
