श्रुधी हवमिन्द्र शूर पृथ्या उत स्तवसे वेन्यस्यार्कैः । आ यस्ते योनिं घृतवन्तमस्वारूर्मिर्न निम्नैर्द्रवयन्त वक्वाः ॥

Transliteration

śrudhí hávam indra śūra pṛ́thyā utá stávase venyásyā́rkaiḥ | ā́ yás te yóniṃ ghṛtá-vantam ásvā ūŕmir ná nímnair dravayanta vákvāḥ ||

Translation

Ouve o chamado, ó Indra, herói, desde a vasta terra; e sê louvado com os hinos do Desejável, com os arkas. Para o teu regaço, rico em ghṛta, os cavalos velozes —como ondas impelidas pelas encostas— levam adiante as palavras inspiradas.
