Sukta 10.111
दूरं किल प्रथमा जग्मुरासामिन्द्रस्य याः प्रसवे सस्रुरापः । क्व स्विदग्रं क्व बुध्न आसामापो मध्यं क्व वो नूनमन्तः ॥
dūráṃ kíla prathamā́ jagmur āsām índrasya yā́ḥ prasavé sasrúr ā́paḥ | kvà svíd ágraṃ kvà budhná āsām ā́po mádhyaṃ kvà vo nūnám ántaḥ ||
Longe, de fato, foram as primeiras águas — aquelas que irromperam ao impulso de Indra. Onde está o seu começo, onde o seu fundamento? Ó Águas, onde está o vosso meio, onde agora o vosso fim no interior?
