यो अग्नीषोमा हविषा सपर्याद्देवद्रीचा मनसा यो घृतेन । तस्य व्रतं रक्षतं पातमंहसो विशे जनाय महि शर्म यच्छतम् ॥

yó agnī́ṣomā havíṣā saparyā́d devadrī́cā mánasā yó ghṛténa | tásya vratáṃ rakṣataṃ pātám aṃháso viśé jánāya máhi śárma yacchatam ||

Aquele que vos serve, Agni e Soma, com a oferenda, com a mente voltada aos deuses, com ghee — guardai o seu voto (vratá), protegei-o de cair nas trevas; e ao povo, ao ser humano, concedei grande abrigo, vasta proteção.
