दिवा चित्तमः कृण्वन्ति पर्जन्येनोदवाहेन । यत्पृथिवीं व्युन्दन्ति ॥

divā́ cit támaḥ kṛṇvanti parjányenodavāhéna | yát pṛthivī́ṃ vyundánti ||

Mesmo de dia fazem treva — pelo ímpeto portador de chuva; quando inundam e encharcam a terra, revolvem as superfícies endurecidas, para que as camadas mais profundas do ser se abram às águas.
