याति देवः प्रवता यात्युद्वता याति शुभ्राभ्यां यजतो हरिभ्याम् । आ देवो याति सविता परावतोऽप विश्वा दुरिता बाधमानः ॥

Transliteration

yā́ti deváḥ právatā yā́ty udvátā yā́ti śubhrā́bhyāṁ yajató háribhyām | ā́ devó yā́ti savitā́ parāváto'pa víśvā duritā́ bā́dhamānaḥ ||

Translation

O deus vai pelo caminho descendente, vai pelo ascendente; vai com seus dois corcéis claros, fulvos, dignos do sacrifício. Savitṛ vem do longínquo além, repelindo toda aflição e toda tortuosidade.
