पाहि नो अग्ने पायुभिरजस्रैरुत प्रिये सदन आ शुशुक्वान् । मा ते भयं जरितारं यविष्ठ नूनं विदन्मापरं सहस्वः ॥
pā́hi no agne pāyúbhir ájasrair utá priyé sádana ā́ śuśukvā́n | mā́ te bhayáṃ jaritā́raṃ yaviṣṭha nūnáṃ vidán mā́ apáraṃ sahasvaḥ ||
Guarda-nos, ó Agni, com tuas proteções infalíveis, e vem, em chamas, ao teu assento amado. Que não haja temor para o teu cantor, ó chama mais jovem; conhecendo-nos agora, não nos abandones ao Outro e ao adverso, ó Poderoso.
