प्रति घोराणामेतानामयासां मरुतां शृण्व आयतामुपब्दिः । ये मर्त्यं पृतनायन्तमूमैॠणावानं न पतयन्त सर्गैः ॥

Transliteration

práti ghorā́ṇām étānām ayā́sāṃ marútāṃ śṛṇva āyatā́m upabdíḥ | yé mártyaṃ pṛtanāyántaṃ ū́maiḥ ṛṇavā́naṃ ná patáyanta sárgaiḥ ||

Translation

Ouve, em resposta, o brado que se aproxima destes Maruts terríveis, incansáveis — o seu fragor que avança. Pois, no seu ímpeto, não deixam cair o mortal que luta na batalha; antes o conduzem através — para que aquele que está em dívida com a fraqueza seja solto e entre no avanço da força.
