Sukta 1.147
बोधा मे अस्य वचसो यविष्ठ मंहिष्ठस्य प्रभृतस्य स्वधावः । पीयति त्वो अनु त्वो गृणाति वन्दारुस्ते तन्वं वन्दे अग्ने ॥
bódhā me asyá vácaso yaviṣṭha maṃhíṣṭhasya prá-bhṛtasya svadhāvaḥ | pī́yati tvo ánu tvo gṛṇāti vandā́rus te tánvaṃ vande agne ||
Desperta para esta minha palavra, ó o mais jovem, ó tu que ages por tua própria potência (svadhā́), trazida da maior abundância. O devoto te bebe, te segue, te canta em resposta; eu me prostro diante do teu próprio corpo, ó Agni.
