Devata: Agni (with Mātariśvan as mediator figure)

स जायमानः परमे व्योमन्याविरग्निरभवन्मातरिश्वने । अस्य क्रत्वा समिधानस्य मज्मना प्र द्यावा शोचिः पृथिवी अरोचयत् ॥

sa jāyamānaḥ parame vyomany āvir agnir abhavan mātariśvane | asya kratvā samidhānasya majmanā pra dyāvā śociḥ pṛthivī arocayat ||

Quando nasce na mais alta vastidão, Agni torna-se manifesto para Mātariśvan, portador da chama. Pela sua vontade e pela grandeza do seu acender, faz resplandecer céu e terra com o seu fulgor, despertando o campo da consciência.
