त्रिशिरा-प्रबोधनम् तथा नरान्तक-वधः
Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
सिंहनादान्विनेदुश्चरणेराक्षसवानराः ।शिलाभिश्चूर्णयामासुर्यातुधानान् प्लवङ्गमाः ।।।।
siṃha-nādān vineduś ca raṇeṣu rākṣasa-vānarāḥ |
śilābhiś cūrṇayāmāsur yātudhānān plavaṅgamāḥ ||
Por todo o campo de batalha, Rākṣasas e Vānaras bradaram com rugidos de leão; e os macacos esmagaram os Yātudhānas com pedras.
The Rakshasas and Vanaras enthusiastic in the battlefield roared like lion. The Vanaras pounded the Rakshasas with rocks.
Dharma is framed as righteous struggle against adharma: the battle-cries and counterattacks underscore resolve to defeat oppression and restore moral order.
The armies clash loudly; amidst the roar, Vanaras use stones to smash demon warriors.
Śaurya (bravery) expressed as fearless engagement in the decisive conflict.
