अयोध्याकाण्डे द्विषष्टितमः सर्गः
Kausalyā consoles Daśaratha; grief, remorse, and nightfall
प्रसीद शिरसा याचे भूमौ निपतितास्मि ते।याचितास्मि हता देव क्षन्तव्याऽहं न हि त्वया।।।।
prasīda śirasā yāce bhūmau nipatitāsmi te | yācitāsmi hatā deva kṣantavyāhaṃ na hi tvayā || 2.62.12 ||
Sê gracioso, meu senhor: suplico-te com a cabeça inclinada; caí por terra diante de ti. Contudo, ó rei, fere-me ter de implorar; não sou, de fato, alguém que deva ser perdoada por ti.
O lord, by falling on the ground at your feet, bowing my head I beg of you to be pleased. By your act of beseeching me, I have been badly hurt. I do deserve to be pardoned.
