FAQs

“Janakajā” means “Janaka’s daughter,” a standard epithet of Sītā, the consort of Rāma.

It presents Sītā as embodying supreme salvific wisdom—divine knowledge that leads the devotee toward liberation and the highest good.

It emphasizes smaraṇa (remembrance) as a direct devotional practice: keeping the deity in mind is portrayed as spiritually transformative and oriented toward final beatitude (sadgati).
