एवं क्षमा समाख्याता शौचमेवं वदाम्यहम् । सबाह्याभ्यंतरे यो वै शुद्धो रागविवर्जितः

evaṃ kṣamā samākhyātā śaucamevaṃ vadāmyaham | sabāhyābhyaṃtare yo vai śuddho rāgavivarjitaḥ

Assim foi explicada a tolerância; agora descreverei a pureza. Verdadeiramente puro é aquele que está limpo por fora e por dentro, livre de apego e de paixão.
