Mohinī-prashna
The Question about Mohinī
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: jnana (treated as shanta)
It teaches that Vedic authority is not limited to recitation alone: the Veda becomes living guidance through sacrificial duty and, for householders, through Smṛti-based dharma and daily conduct.
By grounding spiritual life in disciplined action—yajña, prescribed duties, and righteous household conduct—this verse supports bhakti as a practiced, embodied devotion rather than mere sentiment.
Ritual performance (kriyā) is emphasized—aligned with Kalpa (procedural Vedic practice) and Dharma-śāstra/Smṛti as the applied rule-set for the gṛhastha stage.
