अथ नाम्नां सहस्रं ते वक्ष्ये सावरणार्चनम् । षोडशानामपि मुने स्वस्वक्रमगतात्मकम् ॥ ३९ ॥

atha nāmnāṃ sahasraṃ te vakṣye sāvaraṇārcanam | ṣoḍaśānāmapi mune svasvakramagatātmakam || 39 ||

Agora te direi os mil Nomes divinos, juntamente com o método de adoração dos āvaraṇas, os recintos protetores. Ó sábio, apresentarei também a disposição em dezesseis partes, em sua ordem própria, cada uma colocada na sequência que lhe corresponde.
