Dīpa-vidhi-vyākhyānam

Procedure for Lamp-Offering to Hanumān

पंचधान्यसमुद्भूतं पिष्टमात्रं सुशोभनम् । सर्वकामप्रदं प्रोक्तं सर्वदा दीपदानके ॥ ८ ॥

paṃcadhānyasamudbhūtaṃ piṣṭamātraṃ suśobhanam | sarvakāmapradaṃ proktaṃ sarvadā dīpadānake || 8 ||

Uma lâmpada (ou oferenda de lâmpada) feita apenas de farinha proveniente dos cinco grãos, moldada com beleza, é declarada conceder todos os desejos—sempre—no rito da doação da lâmpada (dīpadāna).
