Gṛhastha-praveśa: Vivāha-bheda, Ācāra-śauca, Śrāddha-kāla, and Vaiṣṇava-lakṣaṇa
Narada (teaching in a didactic context; dialogue framed within Narada’s instruction to the Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bibhatsa
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It teaches viveka (discernment): spiritual progress depends not only on practices but also on avoiding deceit, vanity, pride, and hypocrisy that corrupt one’s mind and conduct.
Bhakti requires sincerity and humility; the verse warns against “baka-vṛtti”—a devotional appearance without inner purity—which obstructs genuine devotion and right association (satsanga).
No specific Vedanga technique is taught; the practical takeaway aligns with dharma-śāstra style sadācāra—ethical discernment in whom to trust and follow.
