Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 40

Varṇāśrama Saṁskāras, Upanayana Windows, Brahmacārin Ācāra, and Anadhyāya Prohibitions

भिक्षान्नधारिणं चैव शयानं नाभिवादयेत् । भर्तृघ्नी पुष्पिणीं जारां सूतिकां गर्भपातिनीम् ॥ ४० ॥

bhikṣānnadhāriṇaṃ caiva śayānaṃ nābhivādayet | bhartṛghnī puṣpiṇīṃ jārāṃ sūtikāṃ garbhapātinīm || 40 ||

Não se deve oferecer reverência a quem carrega alimento de esmola, nem a quem está deitado. Do mesmo modo, não se deve saudar a mulher que matou o marido, a mulher menstruada, a adúltera, a parturiente, nem aquela que provocou aborto ou perda do feto.
