ध्रुवं लोकहितार्थाय शिवेन स्वशरीरतः । शक्तिः कापि सरिदृपा रेवेयमवतारिता ॥ १० ॥

dhruvaṃ lokahitārthāya śivena svaśarīrataḥ | śaktiḥ kāpi saridṛpā reveyamavatāritā || 10 ||

Certamente, para o bem do mundo, Śiva fez descer do seu próprio corpo um certo Poder divino, na forma de um rio — esta é a Revā.
