Matsya Purana — Śrāddha Procedure: Types

पार्वणे ये नियोज्यास्तु ताञ्शृणुष्व नराधिप पञ्चाग्निः स्नातकश्चैव त्रिसुपर्णः षडङ्गवित् //

pārvaṇe ye niyojyāstu tāñśṛṇuṣva narādhipa pañcāgniḥ snātakaścaiva trisuparṇaḥ ṣaḍaṅgavit //

Ó rei, ouve aqueles que podem ser designados para o rito Parvaṇa (śrāddha): quem mantém os cinco fogos sagrados (pañcāgni), o snātaka devidamente formado nos Vedas, quem é versado no Trisuparṇa (recitação védica), e quem conhece os seis Vedāṅgas.
