Adhyaya 92 — Blessings of Knowledge
एवं भगवती देवी सा नित्यापि पुनः पुनः ।
सम्भूय कुरुते भूूप जगतः परिपालनम् ॥
evaṃ bhagavatī devī sā nityāpi punaḥ punaḥ / sambhūya kurute bhūpa jagataḥ paripālanam
Assim, a Deusa Bem-aventurada—embora eterna—assume forma vez após vez, ó rei, e realiza a proteção do mundo.
The text reconciles transcendence and immanence: the divine is eternal (nityā) yet responsive—manifesting repeatedly to safeguard beings. Ethically, it supports hope and responsibility: crises are cyclical, and protection arises when dharma is threatened.
Manvantara and Vaṃśānucarita-style recurring events (divine interventions across ages) are implied; it also supports Sthiti as the governing purpose of such manifestations.
‘Manifesting again and again’ points to the ever-available śakti within experience: whenever disorder intensifies, the same consciousness-power reasserts balance—an inner avatāra dynamic.
