दिवसे दिवसे जन्म प्राणिनः प्राणिनस्तदा । अपश्यद् दुःखसन्तप्तो दिनं वर्षशतं तथा ॥
divase divase janma prāṇinaḥ prāṇinas tadā / apaśyad duḥkhasantapto dinaṃ varṣaśataṃ tathā
Dia após dia ele viu os nascimentos dos seres vivos. Atormentado pela tristeza, assim permaneceu observando por cem anos completos.
