Adhyaya 75 — Slaying of Mahishasura
स प्रविश्याश्रमपदं तां तन्वीं जगतीपतिः ।
अपश्यमानस्तमृषिं प्रियेत्यामन्त्र्य पृष्टवान् ॥
sa praviśyāśramapadaṃ tāṃ tanvīṃ jagatīpatiḥ |
apaśyamānas tam ṛṣiṃ priyety āmantrya pṛṣṭavān ||
Ao entrar no recinto do eremitério, o senhor da terra viu aquela mulher esbelta; não vendo o sábio, chamou-a de «querida» e perguntou por ele.
