Adhyaya 52 — The Manifestation of Nilalohita (Rudra) and the Allocation of His Names, Abodes, Consorts, and Lineages
उपयेमे पुनश्चैनामनन्यां भगवान्भवः ।
देवौ धाताविधातारौ भृगोः ख्यातिरसूयत ॥
upayeme punaś cainām ananyāṃ bhagavān bhavaḥ | devau dhātāvidhātārau bhṛgoḥ khyātir asūyata ||
Então o Bem‑aventurado Bhava (Śiva) desposou-a novamente, ela, a incomparável. Khyāti, esposa de Bhṛgu, gerou os dois deuses Dhātṛ e Vidhātṛ.
Restoration after cosmic/social rupture is shown through rightful union and ordered progeny. The appearance of Dhātṛ/Vidhātṛ underscores that cosmic order (ordination and arrangement) proceeds from sanctioned lineages and harmony.
Vaṁśa/Vaṁśānucarita: cataloging births of deities and their relational network among ṛṣis (Bhṛgu) and personified principles (Khyāti).
Dhātṛ and Vidhātṛ can be read as archetypes of ‘establishing’ and ‘apportioning’—the metaphysical structuring of reality that follows the reuniting of Śiva and Śakti.
