Adhyaya 47 — Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation
ऊर्ध्वस्रोतस्तृतीयस्तु सात्त्विकः समवर्तत ।
ते सुखप्रीतिबहुला बहिरन्तस्त्वनावृताः ॥
ūrdhvastrotas tṛtīyas tu sāttvikaḥ samavartata /
te sukhaprītibahulā bahir antas tv anāvṛtāḥ ||
A terceira criação, chamada ‘ūrdhva-srotas’ (de fluxo ascendente), surgiu como sāttvika. Eram abundantes em felicidade e deleite, e não estavam obscurecidos nem exterior nem interiormente.
